Public Health Training and Activities: Biomedical Waste Management Structured training sessions for Doctors, nursing staff, and hospital personnel on biomedical waste segregation and safe disposal. Observance of National and International Health Days Annual celebration of: World Hypertension Day World No Tobacco Day International Yoga Day Road Safety Week World Environment Day Special event: Inauguration of “Chandan Yog Vatika” for promoting yoga and holistic health Proud achievement: Participated in setting a World Record on International Yoga Day (2025) through a mass “Surya Namashkar Yoga” demonstration involving faculty, students, and community members. Environment & Social Responsibility Ongoing Plantation Drives involving students, staff, and local communities. Cleanliness and eco-awareness campaigns in adopted villages and health centers. Vaccination & Preventive Programs: Hepatitis B Vaccination Drive conducted for: Medical college students Doctors Nursing and non-teaching staff Research and Innovation: Ongoing Research Activities.

Faculty-led studies focusing on public health priorities like non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, environmental health, and social determinants of health. Support for students to conduct research under ICMR Short-Term Studentship (STS) and intra-institutional grants. Encouragement of publication and presentation of research findings at state, national, and international conferences. Planned establishment of community-based longitudinal data systems from adopted villages to serve as a platform for future research and policy analysis. Workshops and training sessions on research methodology, data analysis, and scientific writing to build student and faculty research capacity.
