Department of Biochemistry was established in 2021 when Ist Batch of MBBS enrolled in this institute. The department of biochemistry is known for its academic activities, diagnostic services and research work. Currently department have teaching and training facilities, practical laboratory facility for undergraduate and post graduate students. Department of biochemistry also have advanced laboratory and research facility for post graduate students. Post graduate course (M.D biochemistry) have been started from the year 2024 with approval of 03 PG seats by NMC, New delhi india. At present department have 04 faculty members and 03 post graduate students . Department run various research projects in collaboration with other departments of UNS ASMC Jaunpur. Many research papers have been published from department of biochemistry, UNS ASMC Jaunpur during last 04 years. Department continuously puts in efforts to explore the newer clinically oriented teaching methods . Department of biochemistry run its own diagnostic clinical laboratory in the hospital where more than 200 samples daily processed for various routine and special tests. 1.
